Yeats Country Congress Party Fri-Sun 22nd to 24th May
We have just had the most fabulous weekend in Sligo with over 300 Novice and Intermediate Players in action. Our thanks to all who attended especially all those who travelled long distances from all parts of the country. We hope you all enjoyed your visit as much as we enjoyed looking after you. Special thanks to the local bridge clubs for their support and especially the Yeats Country Congress. We are indebted to the many hard workers under the direction of Mairead Basquille, Frank Goodwin and Joe Murray. Special thanks to our organisation committee under the leadership of Ronnie Kelly, Jim O'Malley, John Macdonald, Gladys Sheridan and Assumpta Kelly. There were many other volunteers who helped tidy up between sessions and your help was very much appreciated. Thanks also to Kelsey for the good photos. I am particularly proud of the hospitality shown by the local players towards the visiting players. Well done to all – See you all back here again on May 22nd for the big 'Party – Yeats Country Bridge Congress'
