“Welcome to all and thank you for your support. It has been a remarkably interesting two years as your President. The main thing is we are getting through this Pandemic and although we have a way to go there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
We must thank and pay tribute to those who kept bridge going at a very bleak time. We are playing this weekend because of the hard work and dedication of our TD’s all over the country. But we must recognise the team here at the Yeats Country Congress, who started the drive to keep Bridge going. We thank Mairead Basquille, Huey Daly, Diarmuid Reddan and Fearghal O’Boyle for their contribution and dedication over the past 2 yrs. Good Luck to all and enjoy the weekend.”
